Language Education
Korean Education Program
GLC freshmen must submit a Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) transcript or Yonsei University’s Korean Language Institute certificate or take the GLC’s own Korean Language Proficiency Assessment. Based on the test scores, GLC classifies freshmen’s Korean language skills into beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and provides a high-level university curriculum so that students can obtain Korean language skills necessary to gain a undergraduate-level liberal arts and major education.
English Education Program
GLC freshmen are required to submit an externally accredited English test result or take the GLC’s own English proficiency diagnostic assessment. Based on the test score, GLC classifies freshmen’s English skills into beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and provides intensive small lectures for a year taught by native English professors for each English level.
