Outline of Major
The International Commerce Major aims to enhance understanding of the relationship between nations and states, as well as contacts and exchanges with multinational corporations, international organizations, civic groups, and other national and non-national entities, and to cultivate global talent equipped with knowledge and perspectives suitable for the era of globalization. To this end, we provide specialized education aimed at honing the critical analysis and resolution skills essential for addressing global political phenomena impacting humanity, society, the international order, and the global community. Our curriculum is rooted in theoretical foundations that encompass international politics, business management, economics, and political economics, and delves into a diverse range of real-world issues, including peace and conflict, international trade, development aid, human rights, environmental sustainability, and poverty alleviation. Ultimately, the aim is to nurture individuals with a comprehensive global vision, spanning across individuals, societies, nations, and the international system, thus meeting the demand for talent required by both nations and the international community.
